Sign in to Trace, choose the project and survey, tap Start Capture and pick a mode:
- Video Mode
- For covering ground. Name the walk, add the floor plan, then walk while the camera films. Every frame carries GPS and a timestamp.
- Capture Mode
- For fixed viewpoints you repeat on every visit. Select a point on the floor plan, capture, then confirm.
- Car Mode
- For roads. Record a 360° drive with the camera on a vehicle. Pin the stop on the map and Trace plans the route and guides the driver turn by turn.

No signal on site? Record without choosing a project or survey, then tap Assign to Survey once you are back online. A walk is never lost because the signal dropped.
