SpatialSense Element · precast tracking

Every precast piece, tracked from the yard to installed

Each piece in your BIM model gets a QR sticker. The site crew scan it with the Element app at every step, and managers see its status live on a dashboard and in 3D.

Element is live on Kim Hua Construction projects. We set up your models and team after a demo.

Why Element

Know where every precast piece is, without chasing anyone

A project can have thousands of precast pieces moving between the yard, the road and the site. Element puts each one’s status in one place, updated by the people who handle it.

Who Element is for

Managers and project teams

A count of every piece by status across every model, without ringing the yard or the site.

Shippers and site receivers

A quick scan with the phone replaces the call, the chat message and the spreadsheet row.

Installers

Confirm each piece as it goes in, so the % installed is always right.

What Element fixes

Nobody knows where a piece is

Today

Status lives in spreadsheets, phone calls and chat groups. Finding out if a piece has shipped means asking someone.

With ElementEvery piece has a status: Preparation, Shipping, Arrived, Installed or Delayed. The dashboard shows how many sit in each.

Updates arrive late, or not at all

Today

Someone has to remember to report each delivery and lift, and type it up later.

With ElementThe crew scan the sticker the moment a piece moves, so the record is written on site, not typed up later.

Delays surface too late

Today

A held-up piece is only noticed when the crane crew are waiting for it.

With ElementAn Admin or Manager flags it as Delayed and it turns red on the web and in 3D. It resumes where it left off once it moves.

What you get

A web platform for the office, an app for the site crew

Both are linked. Every scan on site updates the dashboard and the 3D model for everyone, straight away.

Web · 3D model

Your BIM model in 3D, coloured by status

Open a model and every precast piece (a “tile”) is listed next to the 3D view, coloured by its status. The status legend counts how many sit in each.

  • Search a tile and the 3D view flies straight to it
  • Filter the list by one or more statuses
  • Click a piece in 3D to highlight it and open its QR code

More in Element

Four roles

Admin/Manager, Shipper, Site Receiver and Installer, each with their own login.

Delay flag

Admins and Managers mark a held-up piece as Delayed. It turns red, then resumes where it left off.

Rename tiles

Swap “Element 615914” for a name the site crew know, like Panel P-14. It shows in the list, the QR window and the app.

How it works

How a piece moves through Element

  1. 1

    We load your model

Kodifly adds your BIM (IFC) models. Every precast piece becomes a tile, starting in Preparation.

  2. 2

    Print and stick

Download the QR sheets, print them and stick each code on its piece.

  3. 3

    Scan at each step

The crew scan the sticker when a piece leaves the yard, reaches the site and is installed.

  4. 4

    Check progress

Managers see where every piece is on the dashboard and in 3D, with nothing to chase.

Get started

Book a demo

We walk you through Element on a real precast project, then set it up on yours and train your site crew.

What you need
  • Your BIM model as an IFC file
  • A printer for the QR sheets
  • A phone with the Element app for each site role
FAQ

Questions people ask

What is a tile?

One precast piece from your BIM model. The list and the QR stickers call each one an Element, and you can rename it to something the crew know, like Panel P-14.

Which statuses does a piece go through?

Preparation (grey), Shipping (blue), Arrived (purple) and Installed (green). An Admin or Manager can also flag a piece as Delayed (red); it resumes where it left off.

Who can change a status?

Each role can only make its own step. Shippers move pieces to Shipping, Site Receivers to Arrived and Installers to Installed. Admins and Managers can make any step and flag delays.

Do we need special stickers or printers?

No. The QR sheets are a normal PDF. Print them on A4, A3, A5 or Letter, cut out each code and stick it on its piece.
