View IFC Models in Your Browser

The client, the contractor, and the inspector all need to see the model. Only one of them has a BIM seat.

Start free and open IFC models straight in the browser — no BIM software licence required to view.

No install. Sign up free to try it with a sample dataset.

What is an IFC file?

IFC (Industry Foundation Classes) is the open, vendor-neutral format for exchanging BIM data between different software — the format that lets a model built in one authoring tool be opened, reviewed, and coordinated in another. It carries the building's geometry along with the object data attached to it: walls, systems, components, and their properties.

The problem is that "opening" an IFC file usually still assumes the recipient has a BIM application installed — Navisworks, Revit, or a dedicated IFC viewer. Most people on a project who need to look at the model once, to check a detail or sign off a review, don't have any of those and don't want to install one. A browser-based viewer opens the model for anyone with a link.

How it works

  1. Sign up free — no card required to start.
  2. Open your IFC model in the browser viewer.
  3. Measure, annotate, and share a link with your team.

More than a viewer

Overlay against a point cloud

Put the design model next to the as-built scan and see where they disagree. Overlay Revit models on point clouds →

Verify as-built against BIM

Check what actually got built against what was designed, in the same view. Verify as-built against BIM →

Pin issues to the model

Flag a problem on the exact point in the model and assign it to someone, instead of describing a location in a message. Annotate point clouds and assign issues →

Measure in the browser

Distances and dimensions, checked directly in the viewer — no export to desktop software first. Measure point clouds in your browser →

Frequently asked questions

Is it really free?

Starting is free — sign up and explore the viewer with a sample IFC dataset. Uploading and working with your own models starts on the Starter plan, from $99 a month.

Is my data private?

Yes. Projects are private by default and access is role-based — only people you invite can open your models.

Do I need Navisworks or Revit installed to view the model?

No. The browser viewer opens the IFC model on its own — nobody viewing the link needs a BIM application installed.

What do I need to view an IFC model someone shared with you?

Nothing to install and no account to create. Open the link they sent and the model loads directly in your browser.

Does it work on mobile?

Yes — the viewer runs in a mobile browser, so a model opens on a phone or tablet in the site cabin as well as at a desk.
