Site Scanning Records for Hong Kong Site Teams
Something happened on site and nobody can agree what the space looked like that week. A timestamped scan settles it faster than a memory.
Start free and keep a browser-based, timestamped record of your site — no install, no desktop licence.

The basement nobody can describe the same way twice
Something happened in the basement car park on a Tuesday and nobody can agree on what the space actually looked like that week. There is a photo from someone's phone and a memory of what the ceiling clearance was, and that is the entire record.
Hong Kong sites — tunnels, basements, tight urban footprints — are exactly where paper-based or photo-only records fall apart fastest, because the moment passes and normal work covers it over.
SpatialSense keeps a timestamped, browser-accessible record of what a site looked like, built by Kodifly out of Hong Kong Science Park (2024 Railway Technology Excellence Award for Product Launches and Safety) — so the next dispute has an actual scan to check, not a memory.
How it works
- Sign up free — no card required to start.
- Walk the site with Trace, or upload a scan from your own capture hardware.
- Open the record in the browser and pin anything that needs a closer look.
More than a viewer
Compare scans over time
Line up two scans of the same site from different dates and see what actually changed. Compare point clouds across time →
Measure in the browser
Distances and dimensions, checked directly in the viewer — no export to desktop software first. Measure point clouds in your browser →
Pin issues to the model
Flag a problem on the exact point in the scan and assign it to someone, instead of describing a location in a message. Annotate point clouds and assign issues →
Overlay against BIM
Put the as-built scan next to the design model and see where they disagree. Verify as-built against BIM →
Frequently asked questions
Is it really free to start?
Starting is free — sign up and explore the viewer with a sample dataset. Uploading and working with your own scans and BIM models starts on the Starter plan, from $99 a month.
Is data private and access-controlled?
Yes. Projects are private by default and access is role-based, so only people you invite can open a scan or record.
What formats are supported?
SpatialSense reads LAS, LAZ, E57, and PCD point clouds, and IFC and RVT BIM models, all in the same browser platform.
Does Trace work in Hong Kong site conditions — tunnels, basements?
Yes. Trace transcribes on-device in Cantonese and English, works offline in tunnels and basements without signal, and uploads automatically once you're back in range.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes — the viewer runs in a mobile browser, so a scan opens on a phone or tablet in the site cabin as well as at a desk.
